Kuala Lumpur Vascular Access Conference

KLVAC or Kuala Lumpur Vascular Access Conference is a professional conference organised by the society every 2 years to share experience and knowledge in the field of vascular access. Vascular access is a field which involves the creation of the accesses for hemodialysis. The number of renal failure patients in the country has approached almost 40,000 people as such, there is an urgent need to look into the care of these patients.

The Vascular Society of Malaysia (VSM), established in 2002, is the sole professional body which is made up of the Vascular Surgeon in Malaysia. The VSM was founded to serve as a forum to share information and experiences on vascular diseases and related conditions. It also serves to educate the public and to contribute to training of doctors in vascular surgery.
