Fan He is the professor and chief physician of medicine in Tongji hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Professor He was selected as the candidates of "Huazhong Outstanding Scholar". He was the PI of more than 10 projects, such as, national Natural Science Foundation of China and key research and development of Hubei Province. He published more than 30 research papers as the first author or corresponding author, with the cumulative impact factor of 289. He served as the associate editor of Renal Failure, the editorial board member of Journal of Acute and Critical Internal Medicine and Journal of Clinical Kidney Disease, the deputy chairman of the vascular access interventional committee affiliated to Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and the member of the blood purification committee affiliated to Chinese Biomedical Engineering Society . In 2022, he was awarded "Best Doctor in China" by the National Health Commission of China
