I am currently a Medical Lecturer and Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon at Surgical Department, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Health Campus Kelantan. I received my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from USM. I completed my residency and fellowship in Vascular Surgery at HKL, PPUKM and Prince of Songkhla University Hadyai, Thailand. I remained in USM Medical School for 17 years before being appointed to current post as Associate Professor of Surgery. During this time I developed an experimental and research-based approach to medicine and surgical discipline. I worked together with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and clinicians to strengthen general surgical field and develop vascular and endovascular surgery for USM and East Coast Peninsula Malaysia.
